Mark Sidney – Mindfulness Expert & Business Leader
- Mark first learned to meditate in 1980
- Mark began regular mindfulness practice in 2012
- Mark has been teaching mindfulness since 2015
- Mark is an accredited mindfulness teacher with Mindfulness Association and Mindfulness exchange to teach Mindfulness Based Living Course and Workplace MT respectively
- Mark qualified as a leadership and Performance coach in 2013 with an Advanced Diploma from Nortumbria University
- Mark gained a BA(Hons) in Psychology and sociology from University of Leeds in 1987.
- Mark qualified as a yoga teacher in 2020.
- Mark qualified with Newcastle College to teach in the life long learning sector in 2011.
- Marks focus is in delivering mindfulness courses and workshops to businesses and business leaders.
- Mark has taught mindfulness in schools, local government organisations, multi-national businesses, healthcare settings, charities, further and higher education settings
- Marks coaching clients have included senior managers, lawyers, business owners and individuals in career transition.
- Mark delivers desk based yoga sessions to office and homeworkers.
Rachel Jones-Wild – Mindfulness Trainer & Employee Wellbeing Specialist
Rachel Jones-Wild – Mindfulness Trainer & Employee Wellbeing Specialist
- Rachel started to practice meditation in the late 1990s and has been teaching meditation since 2007;
- Rachel gained a PhD in Sociology from the University of Newcastle.
- Rachel trained with Breathworks in 2012 and is accredited to deliver the Breathworks Living Well with Pain and Illness programme and the Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress programme;
- Rachel qualified as a psychotherapeutic counsellor with the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy and Counselling in Jesmond, Newcastle, in 2012. She is a UKCP registered counsellor. She gained a diploma in psychotherapy from the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2021.
- Rachel is a clinical supervisor, having gained a diploma in clinical supervision from the Northern Guild in 2015
- Rachel is the clinical lead of the Mindful Therapies Counselling Service
- Rachel is qualified to teach Workplace MT, having trained in 2017
- Rachel has taught mindfulness in schools to students ranging in age from 4 to 18 and has delivered mindfulness teacher training to school staff
- Rachel delivers regular mindfulness events and workshops to staff at Newcastle City Council
- Rachel is a mindfulness supervisor – and qualified in 2017
- Rachel delivers mindfulness for professionals training for counsellors and other professionals wishing to use mindfulness in their work
- Rachel has an Award in Education and Training in 2015 from West Academy
